Kim Crosby
most recently appeared on Broadway in The 10th Anniversary Concert of Into The Woods, reprising her role as Cinderella. She last starred on Broadway as Sarah Brown in the enormously successful revival of Guys and Dolls; earlier, she was a featured vocalist in Jerry's Girls. Audiences may also have seen her either on Broadway or a Great Performances (PBS) broadcast as Cinderella in Into The Woods; she can also be heard on the Grammy Award winning original cast album. Off-Broadway credits include Anne Boleyn, Katherine Howard and Jane Seymore in Six Wives, and Marsius in Philamon, both productions at the York Theatre.

Ms. Crosby appeared as Laurey in the National Tour of Oklahoma! opposite John Davidson and Jamie Farr, and she toured for two years with Fred Waring and His Young Pennsylvanians. Regionally, she has sung Maria in West Side Story at The Springfield Little Theatre; Anne in A Little Night Music at the Berkshire Theatre Festival; Cinderella in Into The Woods at The Old Globe Theatre; Hope Langdon in Something's Afoot at the Birmingham Theatre; The Mysteries and What's So Funny at The American Rep.; and Jessie Pullman in Georgia Avenue at The Goodspeed in Chester, Ct.

Kim recently appeared as Lily Garland in On The Twentieth Century at Barrington Stage, and as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady at the Muni Theatre in St. Louis opposite her real-life husband, actor Robert Westenberg.

A popular Pops performer, Crosby has performed with many orchestras in the
U.S. and overseas. Kim takes an interest in the early life of musical theatre pieces, appearing in workshop productions of Six Wives, Fahrenheit 451, Grovers Corners, and Jekyll & Hyde.

Television credits include Jane Porter in Tarzan In Manhattan (CBS); The Cosby Murder Mysteries (NBC); The Guiding Light (CBS); All My Children (ABC); and a long list of commercials. Kim attended Southern Methodist University and The Manhattan School of Music, and is a former
America's Junior Miss.

Rebecca Luebber
a native of Seattle, Washington, Rebecca Luebber has been a musical mainstay in the four state area since her debut as Eliza in My Fair Lady in 1980.   Her early stage experience in the Northwest included the roles of Tuptim, from The King and I, Liesel from The Sound of Music and Marian from The Music Man.   Her formal study included two European musical tours with the Adelphian Concert Choir of the University of Pugent Sound and further musical study at the University of Kansas with Antonio Perez as well as study with Margarite Carney and Terrence O’Brien.

 

Her numerous leading roles in regional productions have included Anna in the King and I, Nellie in South Pacific, Magnolia in Showboat and Lilli in Secret Garden. Cherry in Barnum, and Ann Collier in 1940s Radio Hour.  Other roles include Woman no. 1 in Closer than Ever and Woman no. 1 in My Way (a Tribute to Frank Sinatra.) as well as countless appearances in a variety of musical venues. 

 

Rebecca has been an integral part of Heartland Opera Theatre since its inception, performing in its initial Grand Expectations concerts, Opera by Number ,all three HOT Scandals productions, and has sung the roles of Nella in Gianni Schicchi, Gussie in Merrily We Roll Along, First Lady in The Magic Flute and Woman no. 1 in The All Night Strut. 

 

As a founding member of the popular jazz combo, A Sure Thing, Rebecca has delighted audiences for the past decade with her jazz interpretations of the Great American Song Book.  She can be seen currently appearing with Robert Ensor and the Elephant Band at J.B Elephant’s Thai Bistro.

 

In addition to her stage work, she has an extensive background in modeling, radio, television, and as a voice over personality.      

Terrence O'Brien
was recently a featured soloist with Berlin International Opera in the Sonntagskonzert  at the Bode Museum, Berlin, Germany, and his heroic tenor has been heard for the second season at Sans Souci: the Prussian Summer Palace of Frederick the Great. His powerful and expressive interpretation of opera and musical theater has been hailed in recurring performances at Berlin’s landmark Max & Moritz Theatre. He performed last season with the Galli Theater Berlin, as well as developing and teaching acting workshops for their outreach program. 

Mr. O'Brien has performed over 65 roles in opera, musical theater and plays throughout the US, Europe and Russia with companies including the Spoletto Festival, Italy; Opera Co. of Philadelphia; OperaDelaware, and the Vox Renaissence Consort. Earlier roles include Camille in The Merry Widow, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Alfredo in La Traviata and Tamino in Die Zauberflöte. As his voice matured, his repertoire expanded to include Manrico in Il Trovatore, Don Jose in Carmen and the title role in Les Contes d’Hoffmann. Equally versed in musical theater, his roles have included Tony in West Side Story, Billy Flynn in Chicago and Anthony Hope in Sweeney Todd. A highlight for him was creating the leading role of Young Ben Franklin in the workshop production of States of Independence, written and directed by Ricky Ian Gordon and Tina Landau.

 O’Brien toured for one year with Fred Waring and His Young Pennsylvanians. He was winner of the 2004 Venice International Vocal Competition, a finalist in the Greater Buffalo International Vocal Competition, and the Missouri Representative in the National Federated Music Clubs Vocal Competition.

Area residents may recall his years on the airwaves with the radio program A Night at the Opera on public radio station KRPS. Terrence attended Pittsburg State University, the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts and the University of Houston. He has functioned as General Director for H.O.T. since it’s inception in 1998.
